From Schiphol Airport by bus
From Schiphol to our apartment the best way is to travel by bus. The bus ride is 30 minutes only, and there are 6-8 busses every hour. And the bus stop is just 200 meter distance from the apartment.

The first bus from Schiphol departs at 05:00 a.m. The last bus from Schiphol departs at 12:00 a.m. The first bus from Amsterdam City Centre departs at 05:15 a.m. The last bus from Amsterdam City Centre (Leidseplein) departs at 12:00 a.m.
You can buy your ticket on the bus; 5 euro’s per person one way.

How to get there:
Exit Schiphol Plaza through the revolving doors. The bus stops are located opposite the huge video walls. Take bus route 197 in the direction Leidseplein, Amsterdam. Take the bus all the way to the last stop (Marnixstraat bus station).
From Marnixstraat bus station you walk to the right in the direction of a crossing with traffic lights. At the crossing you turn left (Nassaukade) and take the first street right (look for a huge mural of a naked woman… you can’t miss it!). This is the Jacob van Lennepstraat. Look for no.32  and ring the door bell at the left side of the door.

If you decide to take a taxi please be aware that prices to and from the airport and extortionately high. If the meter (make sure the taxi driver switches it on at the beginning of your journey) is showing less than 33 euro’s, that it is the price the meter is showing and the price you should pay. If it showing more than 33 euro’s the price is still capped at 33 euro’s.
